The battery wire wrapping tool is designed for field service applications, R&D departments, and for operation in remote service areas. The battery wire wrap tool is an alternative to the manual wire wrapping squeeze tool, which is difficult to use and not always reliable. The operator simply recharges the Ni-Cad, 'C' size batteries using the supplied charger for about 1000 wire wraps. If the charger is left plugged in, the battery gun will run indefinitely. When the operator needs to unwrap, simply reverse the batteries and install an unwrapping bit and sleeve. The unique feature of our battery wire wrap gun allows operators to use two alkaline 'C' batteries if they forget to recharge the Ni-Cad batteries. These lightweight tools are designed to be used to wrap wire sizes 24 to 32 awg. The anti-backforce (ABF) model is designed for 28 to 30 awg wire for the operator who is inexperienced in the technique of wire wrapping. These tools are designed, developed, and manufactured in our ISO 9000 approved plant.
